Instructions

  1. For Barium Enema: Follow provider's instructions for test preparation, liquid diet may be required, no food after 9pm the night before, suppositories/laxatives/enema may be required. Inform provider if unable to complete preparations. Drink plenty of fluids and eat fruits/vegetables after the test.
  2. For CT Scan (abdomen/pelvis): Get oral contrast from radiology, no eating or drinking after 9pm the night before, take oral contrast as instructed.
  3. For CT Scan (kidney stone): No eating after 9pm the night before, no contrast, drink water only and come with a full bladder.
