Dr. Arboleda's research interests included Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection in children living in an endemic in Colombia. Dr. Gomara's research efforts are focused on patient outcomes and disease monitoring for the treatment of IBD. Dr. Hernandez is highly active in pediatric clinical research. Dr. Muiños focused his research activities on nutritional support for children with congenital heart disease and failure to thrive. Dr. Arostegui's research interests were in improving colonoscopy bowel preparation and she developed a randomized controlled pilot study evaluating the effect of Ondansetron on bowel prep success.
