Patients requiring emergency medical care for life-threatening conditions, including stroke and cardiac issues, as well as pediatric emergencies.
Instructions
- Discuss with your care team before eating or drinking during your time in the ED as food and drink may affect test results or prevent procedures.
- If admitted, you will remain in the ED until an inpatient bed is available.
- If discharged, you will receive discharge paperwork including instructions for home care and follow-up, referrals, and prescriptions. Check-out and pay your copay, if applicable.
Getting Here
- For quick access to the Emergency Department, enter from Route 16 and drive directly to the emergency entrance.
- For parking, enter the parking lot in the back of the hospital from Route 16, turn left into covered parking under Meehan Family Pavilion, and enter the building through double doors in the covered parking area.
- Take the elevator to the ED floor.
