Instructions
- If your newborn is less than two months old and has a rectal temperature over 100.4 you MUST take your child directly to the Emergency Room at your local pediatric hospital.
- If your child is older than two months, does not appear to be in distress, and has a temperature over 100, we suggest trying a fever reducer such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
- If your child has severe pain, fever over 105, or appears very ill go directly to the Emergency Room or call 911.
