Instructions

  1. If your newborn is less than two months old and has a rectal temperature over 100.4 you MUST take your child directly to the Emergency Room at your local pediatric hospital.
  2. If your child is older than two months, does not appear to be in distress, and has a temperature over 100, we suggest trying a fever reducer such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
  3. If your child has severe pain, fever over 105, or appears very ill go directly to the Emergency Room or call 911.
