Patients requiring diagnostic imaging services including X-rays, Ultrasounds, Mammography, Bone Mineral Density Scans, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Medicine.

Instructions

  1. ABDOMINAL ULTRASOUND: Nothing to eat or drink at least 6 hours prior to your exam. You may drink clear water and take any medication as required.
  2. PELVIC ULTRASOUND: Finish drinking ONE litre of water/Fluids ONE hour prior to exam. DO NOT EMPTY your bladder ONE hour prior to your appointment.
  3. PREGNANCY ULTRASOUND: Remove belly piercings. Eat as normal & Finish drinking 500ML (2 large cups) water/fluids 30 mins prior to your exam. DO NOT EMPTY your bladder 1 hour prior to your appointment.

Parking Information

Paid parking is in effect at the North Durham Health Centre. $6 Flat fee, discounted to $4 upon check-in at Port Perry Imaging. Parking pay station is in the lobby on the main floor.
