When selecting an electronic medical record (EMR) for your medical practice, it’s important to also consider how compatible the integration process of the EMR is with third party vendors. Below is Cortico’s integration ratings based on how complete and cost-effective the EMR is with Cortico.
Most Complete Integration
1. OpenOSP(OpenOscar):
Cortico can easily integrate with OpenOSP and there aren’t any known limitations. Along with Cortico’s excellent support team, OpenOSP also provides high quality technical support. According to the Doctors of BC’s 2022 Member Survey for Provincial EMR Strategy, 60% of OpenOSP users reported they are satisfied with their EMR system.
2. Well Oscar Pro (Includes KAI, THT):
The integration process between Oscar Pro and Cortico is seamless and stress-free! Oscar Pro includes all of the features Oscar has, but Oscar Pro has some additional benefits that makes it more user-friendly. From the Doctors of BC’s 2022 survey, 63% of Oscar Pro users are satisfied with the EMR system.
Note: Oscar Pro has an integration fee when you connect with third parties; Cortico covers 50% of the fee.
3. Flow EMR:
Flow EMR is a cloud-based EHR that has many of the features other EMR systems use and additional digital health features that pairs well Cortico’s booking system and automation tools. The integration and fast and smooth and there aren’t any known limitations.
Near Complete Integration
4. Accuro:
Cortico has excellent integration with Accuro, but there are minor compatibility issues. 71% of Accuro users are satisfied with their EMR system according to the Doctors of BC’s 2022 Member survey.
5. Oscar 19:
Oscar 19 was developed for doctors by doctors. Similarly to how Oscar 19 gives users more control over their EMR, Cortico also allows doctors and medical staff to edit their own booking workflow easily in Cortico’s settings page. From the Doctors of BC’s 2022 survey, 58% of Oscar 19 users are satisfied with their EMR system.
6. Juno EMR:
Integration between Juno EMR and Cortico is quick and easy and many clinics are able to get their Cortico online booking system up and running within a day. Juno EMR is easy EMR system to use and 64% of Juno EMR users are satisfied with their EMR system according to the Doctors of BC’s 2022 Member survey.
Incomplete Integration
7. OpenEMR:
Cortico is able to integrate with OpenEMR, but there are some limitations since there are small features that will be missing when using Cortico.
Limited Integration
8. Avaros and MPeer:
There are currently blocker(s) with Avaros’ and MPeer’s integration with Cortico, but there are still many clinics who use these EMRs and are able to connect their EMRs with Cortico and use our tools.
No Integration
The EMRs listed below are unable to connect with Cortico because integration is not permitted by the EMR vendors:
- Indivicare
- Epic
- Telus EMRs (Includes PS Suite, Med Access, InputHealth, etc.)
Note: Limitations are often due to finite developer resources on the side of Cortico or the EMR vendor.
